Iphone 4 stuck in recovery mode? - 1

I have an iphone firmware 4.3.3 baseband 4.10.01
while installing custom firmware my phone disconnected from the laptop and it is stuck in recovery mode.
i don't want to restore with itunes because then i will lose my 4.10.01 baseband and be upgraded to 4.12.01

what can i do

There's one chance that the recovery mode may not be permanent. The only way to know for sure is to cycle the device and see if it will go away.

-hold the power button, count to seven while holding, then slide to power off.turn back on and see if still in recovery mode.
-hard reset the phone by holding both the power button and home button down while counting to seven, phone will power cycle off. Turn back on and check to see if it's still in recovery mode.

If power cycling the device doesn't clear the recovery mode, then you may be stuck with actually restoring the device.
