Iphone 4 verizon work in ireland if i unlock it?
I bought an iphone 4 on ebay that's locked to Verizon. I didn't know at the time but now I'm wondering will it work on o2 if i unlock it? There's something about Verizon being a CDMA network and o2 being GSM and apparently they don't work together.
A verizon iphone 4 is only compatible with CDMA networks.i. E. It's radio only 'does' CDMA which does not exist in ireland

- Will my verizon iphone 4s work in Ireland? I have a Verizon iPhone 4s, model A1387, which means it's CDMA, not GSM. I got it unlocked by Verizon, because I was hoping that in Ireland I could buy a local SIM card for it. However, now I'm hearing conflicting info that even though it's unlocked, Ireland's SIM cards won't work with it because it's not GSM based, like all of Europe. Please help! Will I be able to get a sim card or not?
