IPHONE 4S BATTERY ISSUES

My iPhone 4S, is IOS7.1 is dying so fast!
If i charge my phone to 100% and unplug, within 15 minutes it has dropped down by 10% when i didn't even use it much.
Only checked the time/text once or twice.
Is this normal?
My phone doesn't even last a day, even when i'm not using it often.

Location services off, notifications for apps i don't use off, using my house wi-fi, auto brightness on and brightness scale half-way(i want brightness max but i heard it kills battery life faster), bluetooth off, mail setting on fetch, and I kill any app after i'm done using them.

What can I do?
I'm not sure if this is relevant but, I usually am on it when it's charging, and I don't wait till it's at 1% to charge it! I don't have a warranty anymore because this is my second year with it!
Does that matter?

Delete some apps, videos, photos, music and check if Bluetooth is on

Most likely the battery is giving up.

The battery has to be shot imo, if I unplug my iphone it stays at the same % without dropping so it has to be an issue on yours. On mine I've used it while charging and have never had an issue but I don't do that often, I normally just charge it overnight.

If your contract is up, then I would upgrade to a newer version by trading it in. They now take trade-ins and you can get a new contract, so it may be just like getting a cheap upgrade and getting new again. Thats better then putting money into fixing an older version. Otherwise you can just have apple put a new battery in it and it will be like new again that way too.
