IPhone 4s- forgot the password now it says connect to itunes?
This is my brother's old phone so it has his iTunes account on the phone and he's away for months and we can't contact him. My mum refuses to pay for it to be restored. I have tried connecting it to iTunes anyway and then it says it can't complete or something. I really need help x
One thing that I've been able to do is to connect it with the computer your brother may have done iPhone backups on. There's an option to restore the iPhone from the computer while the iPhone is connected
He doesn't have a computer
If you have your brother's apple Id and password, you can go to icloud.com on a computer, log in with the apple Id, then select Find My Iphone, click on All Devices in the top middle then erase the phone from here. You also have the option to place the phone into recovery mode through iTunes if the regular restore doesn't work. To use recovery mode, you connect the phone's USB cord to the computer, but leave the iPhone disconnected for now. Turn your phone completely off, then press and hold down on the phones home button while you connect the USB cord to the phone. Keep holding the home button until an alert shows up in iTunes on the computer asking you to restore the phone
- My iPhone is locked and I can't remember the password it only lets me try one password before locking down now it says connect to iTunes? What am I supposed to do? I have connected to iTunes but it says it needs me to answer on my phone and I can't do that
- My iPhone 5 says it's disabled now to incorrect password? My little sister put a password on my iPhone and then she couldn't remember the password and now my iPhone says it is disabled and I can slide for an emergency call. I have a few possible passwords I can try. How to I get to a different screen? I can't seem to restart my iPhone. AND I do NOT want to reset; this is a business phone. The apple site isn't that helpful;

- I just got an iPhone 7 and I forgot the passcode so now I can't finish setting up? It can't connect to iTunes and it's not on my iCloud? I feel so dumb for forgetting it, I'm always bad with remembering numbers. Even though I just put it in, I can't remember it. I really don't want to call Apple Support if I don't have to. How could I factory reset it or something? I just got the phone and didn't even finish setting it up yet so there's no data that I'm concerned about. It can't connect to my iTunes or anything like that.
