Iphone 4s in washing machine?
Last night my mom washed my boyfriends iphone 4s in the washing machine. It's been in a bag of rice since about nine last night.around midnight the LED on the back turned on. This morning the light was off (assuming it died since it was one 30%) i plugged it in because no more water internally. It vibrated like usual but nothing on the screen.
i unplugged it because i had to go to work. It's in the bag of rice on my floor board (i live in florida so it's warm) in my car.
do you think it'll ever work again?
No it won't probably the screen is dead so try your luck but i think it's dead but you can always get it checked buy a service center or at the genius bar

- What should I do with my iphone after it went through a 15 minute washing cycle? I don't know if this matters but my phone was cracked before it went through the wash and now it has a tiny chip in it. There was also detergent and fabric sofenter.

- My iphone 5 was in the washing machine It was in the pocket of a pair of sweatpants for about 5 minutes by the time i realized i had left it in there the water had just started to run. My phone was wet but there didn't seem to be too much damage. The music still played fine and i could hear people on calls. But then i noticed a screen discoloration in the bottom left corner! Is this bad? Do i need to go to the Apple Genius Bar or to the Verizon store? I'm soaking it in rice now and it is still in warranty.
- IPhone dongle went through washing machine? I accidentally left the dongle (lightning to aux adapter) in the pocket of a jacket that went through the washing machine. The cord s completely dry, so is there any harm in trying to plug it into the iPhone and an aux cord to see if it still works?
