IPhone 4S not loading YouTube videos on Wi-Fi?
My iPhone 4S will not load YouTube videos, both on the YouTube app and in Safari on Wi-Fi. When I go to any video, the circular buffer symbol starts spinning forever. Sometimes on the app it says "playback error" after a while. It will load (badly) on my cellular network.
I'm on the iPhone 4S with the most up to date app and software.iOS is on 6.1.3 (the newest version).
I have also cleared all of my browsing data on Safari, cleared my Wi-Fi network data and checked my cellular to make sure it was the Wi-Fi. I have also factory reset my router and gone through all of the steps of fixing it up and getting it to peak condition.
Why won't YouTube load on my Wi-Fi? Suggestions please.
This problem just started for me as well. On May 2. Now a day later. I updated Wi-Fi router firmware, reset cable modem, etc. My PC and Mac computers all load YouTube videos just fine over Wi-Fi. Problem is only iOS devices (iphone 4s and ipad2).
- YouTube not loading iphone 4? Okay here what happened… I accidentally dropped my iPhone in water (2 secs in water) it was in a case. I immediately shut the phone down, and stuck it in a bowl of rice (with the case off). After about 8 hours I recharged the phone and turned it back on. Everything is working fine, Internet, music, sound, screen… Everything EXCEPT YouTube videos just say "loading" and does nothing further. Note: this occurs in the YouTube app. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
- Why are YouTube videos not loading or playing on my IPhone 5? This problem has been persisting for a few days now - basically, every time I attempt to play a YouTube video, whether it is through the app or the actual URL on Safari, the screen stays black and never loads on app, and the loading wheel continually spins on the video. Is there a solution to this issue?
- Is there anything to do about an iPhone loading slow videos? YouTube works fine, but I was watching a show on a website off of my phone and it's loading really slow. It was working fine and loaded in a few seconds yesterday, but now it's super slow. It keeps pausing every few seconds to load more. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
- IPhone YouTube/Videos/Downloads not working? This may sound weird, but I can't use youtube, iTunes downloads, or anything really except safari. BUT, it does work when I use a VPN. It really bugs me. I've tried reseting all settings, network settings, hard resetting. I can't think of anything else to do. I'm not jailbroken. Could this be a bug? I'm on ios7.1.1.
