Iphone 4s onto Straight Talk?
I'm looking to purchase an iphone off of ebay, craigslist, or from a friend, and I want to use it on the Straight Talk plan. I understand that I have to order a sim card from the ST website, but I'm confused if I have to get a phone that is unlocked or not… Can I buy a phone that isn't unlocked and still make it work? If someone could help with this, that would be awesome!
Yes your phone needs to be Unlocked. If it is not unlocked it will not work. Two ways to go about your situtation:
1. Get a unlocked phone, simple mobile sim
2. Get a Locked phone, use a gevy sim, and use it that way.
I recommend option number 1, that will work no problems, and cost you less money.

- Unlocking iPhone 3G to Straight Talk? I've been trying to do this for free for a while. I have a SIM card that would work. I just tried unlocking it through UltraSn0w and it says Searching for a while and eventually no service. I've already jailbroken it. There should be service here as I get it on my other phone. How do I get this to work? I'm trying to use the SIM card from my current phone. Not one I just ordered.
