Iphone 4s won't sync to Itunes?
I just got an Iphone 4s. When I plug it in to my computer for the first time to sync with itunes, it's not recognized and does not automatically start syncing my music, apps, etc. It doesn't come up on the left hand side of the itunes window under devices either. I know the USB is fine as it charges and the Windows "Open to View Files" window comes up as soon as I connect it to my computer. I've tried closing/re-opening itunes, restarting my computer, and unplugging/re-plugging my iphone 50 times but it still won't sync! Can anyone help? My computer has Windows 7 if that affects anything.
Have you tried rebooting w/o disconnecting the device? How long have you left it plugged in? Sometimes they need to be charged first.
- Why won't my iphone 4 sync with my itunes library? For some reason it does not work. I tried automatically syncing it and manually, but I can only get the songs if it is in a playlist. I want to be able to see all of the songs by artist though and the new songs are not under there. Also, some of the artists have spelling errors which I fixed on my itunes library, but which won't come up in my iphone. Really annoying. It used to be I just plugged in my ipod and everything synced with the itunes library.
- Songs in itunes won't sync to ipod but will sync to iphone? So i have over a 1000 songs in my itunes library and they will all sync to my iphone no problem. But when i try to sync to my ipad (which has enough memory available) it will not.
- My Iphone 4S won't sync properly and it only wokrs for like 5 seconds but won't sync? It will only go for 5 seconds say its done and then it won't even sync my music. I hit apply and this has never happened to me before. I really need this quick.
- Music won't sync to iphone when i sync itunes? I plug my iphone 4 into my computer, and sync my itunes stuff. It syncs the contacts, calendars, apps, everything except my music.
