IPhone 5 4g EE not working without Wi-Fi?

Basically, I got my new iPhone 5 on EE 4g yesterday and it works brilliantly in my house with Wi-Fi but when I went out today, it didn't say 4g next to the signal bars, like you know on the iPhone 4s when you don't have Wi-Fi it says 3g and you can use the internet wherever you are, well my iphone didn't have that and I went onto settings to see if I could enable 4g like you can on the iphone 4s but it didn't have an option, it only had enable LTE but my LTE was already on so that confused me more. Please could you help me!

In short you are at the behest of EE

EE is a 4G network but you ONLY get 4G IF EE transmits at 4G LTEspeed
You may have bought a ticket for the Express train and in effect a coach shows up to carry you… Home

The 4G /3G signal is therefore speedometer, afaik 4G is not EvErwhErE. So you may only be getting 3G which you can't change on the phone only EE can

  • My old iPhone 5c won't turn on even though it was working fine a month ago and has just been in a drawer since. How can I get it working? I upgraded my iPhone a month ago and have been experiencing problems so I need to get it fixed. It will be weeks until I get it back so I decided I d use my old iPhone 5c until then. But I can't turn it on, it was working fine last time I used it a mo th ago. I tried charging for hours and hours and holding sleep and home buttons etc and it still won't come on. My charger is fine. How can I turn it on?
  • My iphone isn't working without Wi-Fi? I have the iphone 5s and my carrier is AT&T. About 1 week and 1/2 ago I went out of the country for spring break and since I've come home my phone hasn't been working without Wi-Fi. Like when I'm driving somewhere or something and I don't have Wi-Fi the only thing that works is calling people. I've changed back all the settings. It's off airplane mode, all cellular data stuff is on. Someone help if you know how to fix this!
  • IPhone not fully charging and home button not working? My iPhone 4 only charges to 10% and stops. After it turns off it charges back to 10% and stops so it doesn't even get passed that. How do I fix this? Also home button doesn't work I have to turn my phone off to get out of an app
  • Iphone Do Not Disturb Not working? I downloaded the new IOS for my Iphone 4s and set the Do Not Disturb function up to come on at 9 pm and go off at 7:30 am. I see the moon symbol on the screen so it shows the DND is on, and I have set 3 numbers as favorites, but the favorites are still not ringing through. I missed a call the other night from a favorite, didn't ring, didn't light up the screen, nothing. Am I missing something?
