Iphone 5 can't receive sms messages?
I just purchased an iPhone 5 from AT&T today and I haven't had any problems except for this one. I have not received any text messages and I know at least one person has sent some to me today. What do i need to do? I can send text messages and I can make and receive calls. It's just receiving texts…

- Why can't my iPhone receive SMS messages on 3G? I have a 3GS which has just started having issues with 3G connection. It refuses to receive SMS messages, but I'm able to send them. I have tried to reset network settings, turn off iMessage, restart numerous times to no avail. The only way I can make it work is to turn off 3G, turn the phone off and on which allows SMS to be received. Am I missing something obvious as to why it's having a mini meltdown?
- Why can't I send or receive SMS on my iphone? I have an iPhone 5c. Recently the service was restored but now I can't send or receive text messages. I've tried everything on the website.
- When I receive text messages with emojis from an iPhone, why do the messages only appear partially? My phone is a "Verizon Samsung Intensity II" slide phone. (Also it's blue but that doesn't matter.) Also, if I'm included in an iPhone group chat (spoiled rich friends, but not snobby…), I get each posted message as a separate message, so I'll end up randomly with 67 unread messages clogging up my inbox.
- Trying to find where I can get a book made from IPhone SMS messages? I have come up with an idea to create a book of SMS messages from an IPhone. There are a few thousand messages and I have them transferred over from my phone to a PC. I'm wondering if there are any online services that would allow you to design this to get printed and if there are any templates that look like IMessages available.
