IPhone 5 how to disable photostream?
Every pic me or my sister takes goes to our phone since we're on the same app I. D it's called photostream how to I make it not do that?
Go to Settings, Photos and Camera, and turn off My Photo Stream.
BTW, it is not a good idea to share Apple iTunes accts - you are likely to run into issues like this in other areas as well. Get your own iTunes acct before you buy or download any more content. All iTunes content stays with the original acct.
Settings > iCloud > Photo Stream > switch to Off.
Why not just create a separate Apple ID for both devices?

- Is iCloud photostream private? I have had my iphone for a couple of months and have my photos set to backup to icloud, but someone has just told me that they think anybody who has my apple ID can see these photos? Is this true?!
- IPhone photostream vs camera roll, are they taking up too much space? I don't understand what is the point of having both. I have 1000 photos in photostream but 988 on camera roll… And they are of the same photos. Can I safely delete one of these albums and still keep all my photos? If so which one do I delete and how can I do it?

I recently bought a new iPhone, I logged into my ICloud account thinking it would back all my photos up to my new phone, but I have read online that it only backs up the ones which have been saved into the camera roll in the last 30 days, is this true?
