IPhone 5. How to keep from opening txt message?
I want to lock a txt so I don't open it. Whenever I try to get out of my messages it will go right to the new messages I have and I don't want to open them right away. What do I do? I have an IPhone 5.
Delete it.
If it's a matter of you don't want them to see the fact that you've read it (because of the Read Receipts that send) you can turn that off in settings. Go to Settings, then Messages, then there should be an option to turn Read Receipts off.
If that's not that case and it's just something you need to remember to reply to later, I would keep it open but also keep open another text (so maybe text yourself and don't open it) or open it, and delete all (or most) other messages so it's the only text there.
I've had the same problems with my iPhone and I think there should be an option to mark a message as unread. I think Apple used to have that option. Oh well! X'D

- Why is there no sound when I get a call or txt on my iphone 5? I only got my new iphone 5 yesterday and it was working fine up until this morning. The sound and notifications are all turned on but it is only vibrating when a call or txt comes in. When I go into sounds and check the volume, there's no problem and it works fine. I set the tones I want and turn the volume up, but its still not working. Is there a problem with this phone or am I missing something?
- Why does the App Store on my iPhone 5 keep opening on its own? It seems it only happens when jm browsing through the fb app. Every time I open a link, after 10 seconds of being on this page through fb the App Store then opens and it's always the same app asking to be installed. Candy Crush Saga… Any ideas on why this is happening and how I can stop it?
- Why do girls take forever to txt back? I just met this girls and we've been texting a little, but whenever I text her she takes anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours to get back to me. The most annoying part is i have an iPhone and it tells me when my texts have been read and they'll show up read like 2 minutes after I text her so I know she saw it but then she still gets back to me later. She almost always ends her texts with. And calls me sweetheart a lot. What the hell is happening haha?
