Iphone 5 less storage for music?
I had an Iphone 4 and now have an Iphone 5. I just tried to sync to itunes with EXACTLY the same amount of stuff but says it will be near 3gb over capacity.
Music alone I'm near 500 songs less then I had before and 2 days worth.
Anyone got any ideas of why?
You've been syncing, right? Unless you set for manual management, iTunes may hold space on your iPhone - enough to put on it everything to be synced on your iTunes library. That's one if the reasons I don't sync music but rely on manual management - one of many.
In case your other memory is over a GB I'd clear out safari cookies and history. I'd also do a full shutdown and restart of your device.
- What to do about my iphone storage saying I'm using up way more photo storage than I actually am? My storage says I have 132 photos that's using up most of my storage; almost 3 GB. I have only 52 photos and 15 videos in my phone. It seems like it may be using storage from pictures I deleted, but apparently they're still using space? ? Has this happened to anyone else. I've taken my phone to an apple store, and I didn't get any answers.
- On the I cloud on the Iphone what does total storage and available storage mean? Basically it says total storage 5gb and availible storage 5 gb. Does that mean there's already 5 gb of files on the Icloud?
- NEW IPHONE HAS LESS THAN 1GB STORAGE? See pic below? Look at the pic. If you add up the memory used it goes under 1GB despite saying 5.4GB used. Screw Apple and the feud against SD cards!
- IPhone storage full but iCloud storage not? I'm in the Navy and I'm going on deployment soon so, I'm racking up on stuff like movies and music so I won't be bored during deployment… I'm 3 seasons in on downloading stuff on Netflix and it says my storage is full… I deleted a lot of useless apps and music already and I downloaded a few more then it happened again… I see my iCloud storage is very empty but my phone storage is too full… How can I fix this.
