IPhone 5 on T-MOBILE Wi-Fi PROBLEMS?
I have had the iPhone 5 from T-Mobile for almost a month now and still can't get WI-FI at home. I entered the wrong password the initial first two tries and after that I had remembered the password and will now always say "Unable to connect". I have tried turning it off and on as well as the router but no luck. Took it to T-Mobile and the re-booted the network but still no luck. What should I do now? Ask for a new iPhone 5?
This is a known issue with iPhone 5 and something that dates back to late-2012. Getting a new iPhone 5 won't solve the problem. However you could try clearing the Safari cache/cookies and also updating the iPhone's firmware -- as well as your router's firmware -- This fixed most of the Wi-Fi connectivity issues I had with my iPhone 5 with iOS6
Basically, update your router/phone firmware, reboot your router (then your iPhone) and then try connecting. Insure that you also have proper security on your Wi-Fi.
- Will an iPhone 5 locked with t-mobile work with a simple mobile SIM card? I have a simple mobile SIM card and wanted to know if I could cut it down to fit my iphone 5 bought from t-mobile
- Virgin Mobile iphone 4s: Does it work on T-mobile? If I purchased the unlocked iphone 4s from Virigin mobile would I be able to use it on T-mobile? Does anybody know if the virigin mobile iphone has a spot for a sim card like the ones T-mobile uses?
- Reuse T-Mobile cut-to-use-for iPhone SIM card back to regular T-Mobile phone? Is that possible? My SIM card has been cut to fit on iPhone but I'm going to sell it next month to go back to regular T-Mobile phone. I still have the cutout piece from original T-Mobile SIM Card. Can I re-attach micro SIM to original T-Mobile card and use it on new T-Mobile phone, or would I have to buy the new SIM card and activate it again on pay-as-go-plan?
- Problems with Twitter mobile? I just wanna be able to use my phone to post to twitter without having to go to the internet. I don't have an android or iPhone or anything like that, and after I put in my phone number and it tells me to text GO to 40404, nothing happens.
