Iphone 5 stuck in headphone mode?
It was working and i set it down. Later on i tried to listen to a snapchat and when i turned the volume up it said headphones in? And sound wouldnt work. They worked when i plugged the headphones in! I've tried resetting it and there's no water damage?
I've had this problem before. It's a hit-miss situation. The ways I tried (turning it off, pluggin in headphones) didn't work either. I just listened to music normally with headphones in for a bit longer, turned it off while a song was in progress, unplugged my headphones, restarted the device, and then played music with the headphones out. It just started working randomly while I was playing a game then. If this doesn't work for you, contact apple support and open a claims ticket.
Maybe just a contact problem… Try pushing and pulling the headphone plug into the set a few times
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.

I notice immediately that I could only hear the other end when either headphones were in or it was on speakerphone.
