Iphone 5c will not turn on and it is burning hot

I picked up my phone and wanted to check something and it just showed me the dull black screen. I tried charging it but I notcied it got really, really hot. Anyone know what is up? I did not drop it, get it wet, damage it, etc.

I would try holding the lock button and the home button and see if it will restart. If that won't work I would go to the Apple Store your phone may have a bug they can fix!
