IPhone 5s can be replaced for free from Apple?

I recently had my iPhone dropped and is now in half. The screen is still mint though, no crack at all. Although, the phone itself is apart. I have a bell manufacturer warranty and I was told I would have to pay 250 to repair my cellphone.
I have a friend thats under rogers and also has warranty under rogers. He went into the apple store and somehow managed to get his phone completely replaced with no additional fee.
Will Apple be able to replace or repair my iPhone with the receipt to prove that I purchased my iPhone from Bell?

You should ask them i think you do have to pay for a refurb one

  • When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.

I really want to replace this iPhone and get a new one because I don't want to waste the warranty. I took it in and said it gets heated alot (which it does) but all they did is restored it.
