Iphone 5s vs htc one vs lg g2?

I don't know what additional info i can provide apart from

1. My hands are fairly normal maybe slightly small (they wrap around the 4s nicely).

2. As part of my college degree we're given free ipads next year. Will this complement the 5s or is it a reason to avoid it? (whichever phone i choose will be on a 24 month contract btw)
maybe this is a reason to avoid the larger LG g2? I don't know

as i already have a 4s, will the 5s be that big of a step up? I mean other than the finger print sensor will i be able to notice the difference with snazzy camera flashes and 64 bit processors? Personally the iphone 5 didn't even seem like a huge step up apart from the screen size

i don't know too much about the htc one but from what I hear these are the top 3 competitors

I'd say HTC ONE even though I have Samsung galaxy s4 mini
