IPhone 6 Plus iOS 9.1 & Windows 8.1 won't connect to Wi-Fi?
My iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 9.1 and Windows 8.1 laptop won't connect to the Wi-Fi but my moms android phone will. It says it needs a password but when I put it in it says it's wrong? It didn't even ask my mom for a password on her phone. I figured it might be an Apple problem but my computer is Windows and it's going the same thing? I've put the password in a dozen times and I know it isn't wrong. Does anyone have a solution?
Whoever has administrator access to your home Wi-Fi router may have activated MAC address filtering. That means that the only Wi-Fi devices which can connect to the router are ones which have already had their MAC addresses added to the router memory.
Other causes are also possible, but that's a best guess based upon very little information.
