IPhone contacts disappeared. How do I get it back?
All my contacts were on my phone yesterday. Today I noticed that all my contacts were gone, but in the recent calls, it was replaced by their phone numbers. My notes are also gone. I haven't synced my phone for a few days, and it hadn't crashed or anything, so is there a way I could get them back? I tried to sync it, hoping it was backed up, but that didn't help. It was weird how it just disappeared out of nowhere. I haven't tried to turn it off than back on, afraid that everything on my phone would be lost.
Added (1). This happened the day I was notified that I could update to iOS 7.0.3. Maybe that could be the reason my contacts disappeared?
1. Open iTunes and connect your iPhone to your computer using the provided USB cable or your Wi-Fi connection. Wait until you see the iPhone icon appear in the left column of iTunes underneath the "Devices" category.
2. Select your iPhone and right-click it (Ctrl-click on a Mac) from the list of devices.
3. Select "Restore from Backup." ITunes displays your iPhone name as well as the most recent backup available. Click "Restore" to return your contacts to your iPhone.
4. Update your firmware, if necessary, as the backup does not include these updates.
Your contacts, Notes are all being used form the iCloud I think… Go to your iCloud settings and provide your credentials. Once you do that, make sure all options are On. This should bring back.
To know if this would help or not, go to a computer and open www.icloud.com and login with your iCloud id.
If you see all your contacts, notes there on the site, then setting up iCloud on your iPhone will work as well. And get back all those details.
If the details are not there also… May be someone knows your iCloud password and may have deleted from iCloud.com that in turn might have gone from your iPhone…

My Contact icon disappeared. How do I get it back?
- Some of my notes on my iphone disappeared, how do I get them back? I deleted my Mail account, forgetting that notes were attached to it because I wanted to have a different mail account on my phone, and when i realized i added it back, and all of my notes were still there, but they were all duplicated since i had both accounts on I guess? So i was deleting some of the duplicates and then (i don't know how or why) all my notes for the last 6 months got deleted. Is there any way to get them back?
- My drop down menu on iPhone 4S has disappeared! How do I get it back? The grey menu at the top of my screen that you can slide down and see weather, new notification and messages has disappeared! I want it back cuz it's bugging me I can't scroll down to see if I have a message anymore so is their a way to get it back?
