Iphone iOS 6 update problems

I was just updating my iPhone to the iOS 6 update. It was downloading on my iTunes for about 3 hours then it just said it couldn't restore my phone. I wasn't using the computer i normally use because i didn't have it with me and i did not know i needed my computer for this update. Now my phones screen is on but, its black. Like if i were in the dark, you could tell the screen was on but there's nothing on it. Just black. It won't turn on or anything. What can i do to resolve this!

Added (1). I just tried to do the restore thing, and it just isn't working. It starts to turn on with the apple on it, then the apple just goes away and the screen goes to that black thing again but its on. It then comes up with a battery saying it needs to be charged, the apple appears then does the same thing.

Try putting it in DFU mode. Thats when you hold the power button (Top Right) for 3 seconds then you hold the home button while still holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then let go of the power button & you do this all while it is plugged into the computer & then you can restore your iPhone

I did the update last night, but got an issue on the ebay application screen where the letters are truncated(on top of each other) and the slide show of photos of items that I want to buy does not work(only I can see the first photo)! I did the update twice and the same problems persists!

I just downloaded the update for my iPhone 6, and now it is stuck in voice over. Over and over again, in many languages, and it will not respond to me. I have turned it off, and I have tried DFU. How do I get to the screen to log in? How do I get anywhere? I can't even sync it to my computer, because to do that, I have to unlock the phone and that screen won't come up.
