IPhone is running really slow?

I have an iPhone 4S it has started to run really slow. I have done a load of things such as reducing the brightness closing app properly by pressing the home button twice etc. My phone is insured will I be able to ring them and explain my problem and maybe get a replacement?

Not sure if they'll refund you. The problem is all the updates Apple is pushing on you.iOS6 wasn't originally made for 4S, but for the iPhone 5.It's hard for the phone to process everything new. Degrading back to iOS 6 might help.

Close all your background apps

Maybe not the answer you're looking for, but I just saw that the Iphone 5 dropped to $98 today at the Walmart website. My 4S has been acting up lately too, so I'm making the switch and maybe you could too if you have the $$. Just throwing it out there especially since you can sell your 4S for more than that on craigslist or something

  • Why the hell is my NEW iPhone 4S running so SLOW? I got it a little before Christmas, it was brand new, AT&T 4G. It wasn't like this before! I barely have any apps, I have almost FULL bars and Wi-Fi connection, I don't know what's going on! When I'm on FB, it runs incredibly slow as well as on the internet. All I know is that it's p*ssing me off!

  • My computer is running slow? So I never had this problem until a few days ago. My computer (Asus windows 7) is running slow, yet if I go on my iPod or iPhone which is connected to the Wi-Fi in my house, it works perfectly fine. What should I do?
