IPhone not making swoosh sound anymore?
You know that sound the iPhone makes when you send a text, and the similar tone when you receive one while still in the text app? Well my phone still makes the sending tone, but not the receiving one. Now instead of a receiving tone it vibrates, and it's really annoying. I'd like for it to go back to being the swoosh tone, but I can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know how?
If it helps, I have an iPhone 3GS with the latest update.
Go to your settings to fix it.
Make sure your volume is up.
Make sure you didn't click your phone into silent mode (the toggle on the side of your phone)
