IPhone os 8.3. Under our Wi-Fi at home, when someone get a call everyone's phone rings?

What causes everyone's phone to ring when one phone is getting a call while under the same Wi-Fi. We're all running OS 8.3

Turn off iCloud and see where that gets you
I think that's the problem, my dad has accidentally gotten my messages multiple times, and I'm pretty sure that's what he did

You're all connected to the same Apple and iCloud account if that's happening.

It's a new thing in IOS 8, (I'm presuming that their all signed into one Apple ID?), so that you can answer/make a call or text from any of your Apple devices even if they don't have a SIM Card. I would suggest that each family member could have their own Apple ID, that should sort it:-)

If you are using the same Apple ID (& I assume that call is a FaceTime audio/video call) that is what would happen. Would have to get separate Apple IDs to stop that.

  • Will it show up as a missed call if i call someone by accident for half a ring? So I accidentally called my ex on his iphone, but I quickly realized my mistake and hung up after a half ring. Like you know how when you're calling someone it rings, I hung up after the first riiiing. My question is, will it show up on his phone as a missed call? I tested it out on 2 friends. One iphone 5 and iphone 4. They both told me they didn't get a call. Am I in the clear?
  • Why won't my iphone connect to our home Wi-Fi? Other devices and even my mac can connect to our home Wi-Fi just fine. Seems like everything but my iphone 5 just won't connect. After i press the network, it selects and does the check icon for a split second and disconnects again. Doesn't even allow me to enter the password first.
  • Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.
  • Phone still rings on my old phone, what should I do? I just transferred all of my data from my android phone to an IPhone, and it was successful. But when someone calls me, it still rings on my old phone.
