IPhone other taking up too much memory?
I have an iPhone 5. 100 songs and not even 500 pictures. I have about 5 apps besides the ones that came on my phone. My "other" things are taking up 7.93 GB of memory. I never had this problem on my iPhone 4. I had about 2, 000 photos and more songs on my 4. Please tell me what is taking up all this other space!
Added (1). I delete most of my text messages and do not have my email hooked up to my phone.
Do you have a lot of photos in messages or emails? They can take up a lot of space.
I have the same problem. I have a 32gig one and after i put the update on i'm now using 15gigs for other. Not sure what other is for
- Why is other taking up 6.8 of my memory space on my iphone 5? On my iphone 5 "other" is taking up 6.8 of my data… What is this other and how do i reclaim my space? I've tried like resetting my phone and rebacking it up and stuff but nothing happened…
- Why is my music taking up so much memory? I have a 32GB iPhone 4S and I have about 550 songs. Those songs amount to 10GB. My dad has the same phone with te same amount of songs but only takes up 5GB. The lengths of the songs are roughly the same. Why is it that my music takes up more memory?
- Why is my iPhone taking up so much memory? I have an iPhone 16 gb with no music, and almost no apps (instagram and twitter, and I doubt that those are taking up all my memory). I don't have much photos and videos and I'm down to 1.1 gb.
- Why is Cydia taking so much memory? I just installed Cydia on my iOS 6 iPhone 4 and it added 3.7gb to my iPhone. I have a 8gb (aka 6gb) iPhone 4 I checked installous and that wasn't it. Also I know none of that memory is involed with apps. I only use about 56 mb of memory on apps.
