IPhone stuck in headphone mode? - 2

I have the iPhone 4, it works GREAT! And yesterday afternoon I try to turn up my phone so I can hear a video but the volume didn't pop up. So I tried to turn it up with the buttons && the ringer was blank. So I did research and it said insert && eject the headphones about 20 times so I did && it still doesn't work.

Are you sure you phone just isn't on silent? This could be the cause. If you take you phone of silent, it may work. (The slider above the volume buttons)

If it truly is in headphone mode though, the you can first try turning off your phone, the turning it on again. If that doesn't work either, then play some music and try doing a reset of your phone while its playing: hold down the home button and the on/off button together for 10-15 seconds, until it turns off. Then turn it back on.

If none if this helps, then it probably needs to be taken to someone who knows the device. Like the apple store

  • Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.
  • My iPhone 4s is stuck on headphone mode? I did a restart a couple of times. It doesn't work. So now when someone calls me or when I all them I have to put it on speaker. And it doesn't make sounds. It doesn't ring. At all.
  • My iPhone 4S is stuck in headphone mode, what do I do? I can't hear any sound, no sound on any apps and no sound in my music library. The volume bar has disappeared and only with head phones can I hear sound. What do I do?
  • Is my Iphone stuck in headphone mode or is it a broken earpiece? Just yesterday I got a pre-owned Iphone 4S. I was making a test call to make sure that I was connected to the service. I notice immediately that I could only hear the other end when either headphones were in or it was on speakerphone. When I'm not making calls I can hear the clicks of typing and turning the device on and off just fine. I was just wondering if my Iphone is stuck in headphone mode or not and if there's a way I can fix it.
