Iphone stuck in headphone mode?
I have tried blowing into it, sucking, putting the headphone in and out repeatedly and tried several different headphones, tried to change the volume using the headphones and it doesn't work.can't hear anyone when i call them unless on speaker and can't hear music etc?
Probably just a glitch, so go to itunes and just back up your phone then restore it.
If your using an iPhone 4 then I can say that this can be caused by condensation in the jack socket. Just another of the many problems iPhone 4 has. However you didn't say what iPhone you had so I may complete be missing the mark.
I tried everything i read online… Heres what finally worked for me. I made a call to my friend and we spoke on the phone intil it locked itself (not sure how long that takes), then before he hung up and the phone was still locked i yanked the headphones out. Fixed! Try that. Hope it works
- Somehow, a huge piece of the headphone jack got stuck in the headphone port, and I can't find any I think the headphone type is just a normal iPhone headphone. So ground, audio, mic and some of the plastic, or whatever it is, around it, got stuck in there, and it's not super deep, probably because it's almost the whole headphone jack, but it's still in there. Someone please help! I can't find anything! It's just the headphone jack tip that got stuck for everyone else! It's a laptop.

- Is my Iphone stuck in headphone mode or is it a broken earpiece? Just yesterday I got a pre-owned Iphone 4S. I was making a test call to make sure that I was connected to the service. I notice immediately that I could only hear the other end when either headphones were in or it was on speakerphone. When I'm not making calls I can hear the clicks of typing and turning the device on and off just fine. I was just wondering if my Iphone is stuck in headphone mode or not and if there's a way I can fix it.
