IPhone unlocking to TMobile?
So I'm going to unlock my iPhone to T-Mobile but I'm going to use a third party unlock, the question is that if I get the phone unlock and do the process and don't have the sim card yet, will it still be unlocked when I do get the plan? 'Caise you have to have the network aim card you plan to use (experienced users please)
Can't the "helpful" people at T-Mobile tell you this?
They will be able to break the phone.
You get the Sim from the service provider.
Jailbreaking an I phone is completely different, voids all warranties and your service provider may drop you, but that's the point of an I phone.

Yes, once the iPhone has been registered as unlocked with the carrier and Apple, then you only need your other SIM card to complete the unlock. It doesn't matter how much time it takes to get the plan, etc, it is permanent so it can be done anytime
