Iphone won't display messages?

When I tried to unlock my phone to check a message it froze and I had to turn it off and on again. When I went to messages no messages were displayed. BUT it says the amount of messages that I've got but they're not showing up. What is happening?! I urgently need to reply to the text I received. Why isn't it there? Is there a way to get them back? They were there until I had to turn my phone off and on.

Added (1). Another thing is that when I select "messages" it goes straight to "create a message."

Added (2). I can't. It's 4 years old and out of any guarantee. Plus I need to sent the message back like right now.

I would take the phone to your service network provider

  • Why does my iPhone display error message? My iPhone 3GS displays an error message, "charging is not supported with this accessory." My phone still charges however it constantly displays this message. How do I resolve this issue? This message started to appear after I plugged it into my friend's stereo (1/8") jack but I'm using my original charger now. • Why do some of my messages to my friend not display the delivered message? They don't say delivered or not delivered, it's just blank. The one above it says delivered that I sent two days ago but this one doesn't. This happens fairly often with this friend… I know her phone isn't dead since she's been posting and liking my photos on ig but it still doesn't say delivered under it. She has an iPhone 6s if it helps.
  • We know that if a smartphone has more than 300 pixels per inch, it is a retina display. How much ppi it need to be a super retina display? It is said that human retina can distinguish pixels and letters in screen seem broken if ppi is below 300. If ppi is above 300, how high the ppi may be, it looks same for human eye, then why iPhone has 458 pixels in iPhone x?
  • Display won't work on my iPhone? The lock button for my iPhone was smashed down, so I took it apart and fixed it and when I put it back together (I put the all wires back in the same place) the display wouldn't work. Is there something I did wrong or another step I'm missing?
