Iphone won't switch on at all?
I dropped my iphone 3gs and now it won't turn on at all or even recharge. I've left it charging for hours but it doesn't switch on. It doesn't even get up to the apple logo the screen just stays black. I've tried hold the sleep & home button but nothing happens at all.
Try holding the power button and the home button at the same time for about ten seconds.you'll see and apple come up on the screen.
if that doesn't work try hooking it up to your computer's iTunes and see if anything happens. If nothing you may be SOL

Well you dropped it, so obviously something broke. Try the reboot as stated and if you can't do that, then take it to the apple store. I would just get 4 which is free with a 2year contract, that way you get an upgrade and don't have to mess with fixing the old. (You can also recycle the old on apples site and they will give you store credit, so you will get some money back for it).
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
