IPhone won't sync with iTunes? - 1
Every time i plug in my iphone 4 to the computer, all it does is charge it, but won't sync. Not even the name "emma's phone" will show up on the left sidebar of itunes like its suppose to.everything i bought on my phone automatically goes to the computer with itunes, but if i delete something, since iphone won't connect, i can't put previous song purchases or apps onto my phone. My mom's iphone will connect with itunes, so will my sisters ipod. But not mine. WHY! This is frustrating.
I don't really know why that happen but try these:
1. Restart you phone
2. Restart your laptop.
3. Try a different usb port (usually helps for me)
If you know you have a back up of you phone on iTunes or iCloud the Google put your phone in recovery mode (instructions below) then you'll be able to factory reset it then restore your content.
To put your phone in Recovery mode:
1.Open iTunes and connect the iPhone to your Mac.
2.Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time.
3. As soon as the screen goes black release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button until you iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPhone in recovery mode.
Then restore you phone.
- Why won't my iphone 4 sync with my itunes library? For some reason it does not work. I tried automatically syncing it and manually, but I can only get the songs if it is in a playlist. I want to be able to see all of the songs by artist though and the new songs are not under there. Also, some of the artists have spelling errors which I fixed on my itunes library, but which won't come up in my iphone. Really annoying. It used to be I just plugged in my ipod and everything synced with the itunes library.

- My Iphone 4S won't sync properly and it only wokrs for like 5 seconds but won't sync? It will only go for 5 seconds say its done and then it won't even sync my music. I hit apply and this has never happened to me before. I really need this quick.
- Music won't sync to iphone when i sync itunes? I plug my iphone 4 into my computer, and sync my itunes stuff. It syncs the contacts, calendars, apps, everything except my music.
