Is 500 Mb data good for my iPhone 4S?
I don't watch YouTube videos or anything on my phones 4G (But on Wi-Fi I do). But I do basic web surfing and messaging. I don't do any downloads unless I'm on Wi-Fi. So is 500 MB a lot?
I have 500MB on my plan too. It's enough for me to do all the browsing that I like, but if I start using it to watch video or download things then it's soon gone, so use your home Wi-Fi for any big downloads and you'll be okay.
Another thing to watch out for is third party applications using up your data allowance in the background, this is most common with free and trial apps
IF you DIDN't HAVE Wi-Fi I WOULD SAY ITS NOT ALOT. BUT SINCE you DO HAVE Wi-Fi, THEN YEAH ITS ALOT.
500mb is not a lot. But occasional web surfing won't use it up too fast especially if you use Wi-Fi when available. Texting doesn't affect it. That's typically a separate part of your plan (e.g. Unlimited talk/text).
