Is $575 for an unlocked iphone 5S a good deal?

If you buy it then the seller reports its stolen to get insurance money, the phone gets locked and there's no way to unlock it
I would rather pay a bit more and get it from Apple or a phone store
Think about it - if they only used it 2 days they could get a full refund from the store where they bought it. You have 30 days to return to a store. So why wouldn't you do that if the phone weren't stolen or a Chinese clone? Wouldn't you return a phone to the store for a fill refund if you didn't want it?
Not saying that's definitely the case here, but something sounds fishy

I've been looking to buy an iphone 5 for between 400-420 tops, I've been looking on ebay buy they are selling them for ridiculous prices like over 400 for a used one, I know they are not cheap but they retail from apple for about 500 so you must be able to get one for abit cheaper.
