Is 8GB enough storage for the iphone 4S?
I mean to hold up to 1000 pics, no more than 50 songs and just a couple of apps?
No I thought it 16, 32, 64GB
No, not really. You'll only have 6gb to work with, because the rest is being used for the phones software.
I think is enough but i would get more than 8, because later you may start getting pics, more songs and even more apps and you don't really want to struggle with what to delete, what to keep. I would save more money and get mre than 8.
just my opinion but if you think thats enough then go for it.
Or get a android and have a micro SD…

The phone's software will take up at least 2 GB, so you'll have about 6 GB to use. Besides that, it might not be enough. Unless you're sure it's enough for you, 16 might be a better option. I think it's enough for what you're suggesting, but in the future, if you want to take more pictures, store more songs, download more apps, etc. You would have to get rid of old things to make room for the new. If you think it's enough and that won't be a problem, go for it.

I recently had a Samsung phone with 8GB and on that I stored over 2500 photos and videos, I had 200+ songs and around 10-20 apps, yet I never ran out of storage. I've been thinking about getting the iPhone 5C and now I'm wondering if 8GB will be enough and if I'll be able to store the same amount of things on the iPhone as I used to on my Samsung. If not, about how much would it be able to store?

About 2 pages of apps. Mostly just social and shopping. I plan on only having like 100-200 pictures. Is that enough or should I get 16gb? OH and should I get an Otterbox Commuter case or Speck case?
