Is iphone 4s has metal body?
I bought new iPhone 4s, it is very heavy, does it has a metal body or a normal plastic body? Like samsung

There's a metal band around the outside of the phone and the inside is a metal frame. There are glass panels on the front and back that crack easily so you should probably get a case!
- What iphone 4s body is made of? I dropped it on a hard surface from 6 feet high but still it's fine. I'm wondering that of what it's body is made of? Especially it's lower parts just below home button area?

- Is there a difference in iPhone body? This may sound like a really dumb question, but I have reason for my suspicion. My mom had a black 16gig iPhone 4. The family upgraded phones and in it I got a white 8gig iPhone 4. My mom gave me one of her cases and it fits perfectly, but the silencer switch and volume buttons are a little off. When my brother and I went to Best Buy, some of the cases said specifically for iPhone 4 16gig and 32gig. Others said iPhone 4. Is there a difference at all?
- Is the metal in an iPhone 4 detectable by a metal detector? I lost my iPhone 4 in the snow the other day and all other ways of looking for it have failed. Does anyone know if the metal in it is detectable in the snow?
