Is it normal for bluetooth connection to have interference?
I use my phone to connect to and listen to music via bluetooth compatible speaker that is mounted on my bicycle. The speaker has no settings to adjust other than volume. So, as I travel through neighborhoods, the bluetooth loses it's connection for a moment and then it comes back. Very annoying. I could connect with a hardwire connection to the phone and speaker but I prefer the wireless connection. I'm not sure but it appears to be that other Wi-Fi networks in the neighborhoods are interfering with my bluetooth connection since it happens more often in crowded neighborhoods than when I'm out on the highway shoulder in the countryside.
Has anyone ever experienced this and is there a setting in the phone that can isolate my connection to my speaker and filter out all other Wi-Fi interference?
iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4
Maybe your phone is having a similar problem to the problem I had with my Nokia X6 and bluetooth headset. When playing music and walking through town it kept pausing and stuttering every now and again. What this turned out to be was the phone was trying to join every Wi-Fi network it came into range of as I walked past the houses, which was making it too busy to either play the music continually or maintain the bluetooth connection. Switching the Wi-Fi off before going out stopped it, with the extra advantage of saving battery power.
Your problem might be different but it could be worth giving this a try.
- Syncing IPhone 4S Bluetooth with 2006 Prius Bluetooth? I just purchased an IPhone 4S and it will not sync with the bluetooth on my 2006 Prius. I have been to my Toyota Dealer who sent me back to Verizon store who said reinstall software on phone, which I did No luck. Any suggestions?
- On the PC Version of Fallout 4, will the Pip-boy app work over a bluetooth connection? Where I'm, the network is restricted against phones connecting to computers as a safety precaution for all it's users. However, I really want to use the pip boy app with Fallout 4! Can I buy a bluetooth adapter and connect my PC to my iPhone that way?
- My normal headphones won't work after using Bluetooth headphones? (iPhone 7)? I've been using AirPods for a couple months now and the battery is getting pretty bad so I decided to get some plug-in Apple headphones but those don't work. When I plug them in I get a "not supported" notification. I've also tried friends headphones that worked fine on there phone, so I know it's not just faulty wires.
- Is it possible to pair a Bluetooth dongle with two Bluetooth devices at one time? I have two sofas with inbuilt Bluetooth and iPhone docks. It's possible to pair a phone to one sofa at a time and play music via Bluetooth. If I bought a Bluetooth dongle for my television, would it pair to just one sofa? Or is there a way to pair it to both without having wires running across the room?
