Is it normal to have an iPhone without the data package?

Does anybody else have that, or is it just me?

Most carriers require a data package because thats where they make money.

Alot use ipod touch though because there's no monthly cost, can still use imessage and facetime free, and can use apps.

It's pretty normal I guess. If you've access to Wi-Fi all the time or at times of need, no need to spend extra on data packages.

Oh yes, lots of people because lots of people especially people in their 70s get plans for their phones that they only use to make phone calls.

Same here. Always connected to Wi-Fi.

  • With Verizon, can two iphones share a data package of 2GB? I have an iphone right now and it costs $30 for 2 GB of data a month. My mom wants to get rid of her basic keyboard phone and upgrade to an iPhone. But she doesn't want to pay an addtional $30 for her 2 GB of data. Is it possible for her to just use some of my data and join my 2 GB plan?
  • What is the average data package cost for Iphone with AT&T? What is the monthly charge for a data package in the DFW area? Wanting to get my kids phones for Christmas without breaking the bankl!
  • Version iPhone without data package? So I love my iPod! Pretty much everywhere I go there's Wi-Fi so I use Wi-Fi a lot! I thunk it would be nice to have an iPhone instead of a phone and an iPod. I don't particularly want a data package since a) Verizon's are super spendy! B) Wi-Fi is everywhere in my town And c) it's ridiculous! So can I buy a phone from a cellphone store that doesn't sell plans and just have them put my sm card in an iPhone and not have a data plan?
  • USPS lost my package from eBay and the seller refunded me, should I still file a missing package claim? I had ordered the iPhone 7 for my birthday last week and I never received my package. I went through a whole ordeal with USPS (who was no help at all). Eventually the eBay seller was happy to issue me a full refund but I'm wondering if it's worth my time to file a missing package claim.
