Is it possible to pair a Bluetooth dongle with two Bluetooth devices at one time?

I have two sofas with inbuilt Bluetooth and iPhone docks. It's possible to pair a phone to one sofa at a time and play music via Bluetooth. If I bought a Bluetooth dongle for my television, would it pair to just one sofa? Or is there a way to pair it to both without having wires running across the room?

You should be able to set up Bluetooth for one sofa at a time, therefore you can set the television up for booth sofas, but you have to do it twice for the television since the sofas act like separate devices

  • USB Bluetooth dongle won't work? I have an MSI netbook that I want to pair with Bluetooth speakers using a dongle. The speakers talk to iphone and iPod no problem, but the netbook can find them. I've updated the drivers, and the properties say that the device is working correctly, so I don't know why it won't find the speakers. When searching for devices, nothing comes up at all. There's obviously an issue with the net book end, not the speakers. Can anyone help please?
  • Is it possible to connect two different bluetooth headphones to one device? My wife and I are taking a motorcycle trip and would like to listen to the same music using bluetooth earbuds. I've heard of something called a bluetooth splitter, but wasn't sure if it would work for this application. We're hoping to use bluetooth ear buds to listen to the same iphone while traveling.
  • Is it possible to connect different devices with iCloud, but exclude one of them? My Apple ID is used for my laptop, my iPod, and will be for my iPhone once I get it at the end of the month. A month ago my mother purchased an iPhone and I let her use my Apple ID to make it easier for her and what not. I'm interested in using iCloud for my laptop, iPod, etc. But I don't want it to connect to my mother's iPhone. Is it possible to make sure our things don't go to each others devices? Or if I don't fully comprehend it, could someone explain it to me?
