Is it possible to replace the iphone 6s screen with an iphone 7?

I went to the apple store the other day with my brother because the home button on his iPhone was broken. The employees that worked there said that the home button was part of the display, and that he would need to replace the entire screen to fix it. Is it possible that I could take my iPhone 6s to a third party screen replacement store and have them replace the display for an iPhone 7 display in order to get the heat sensor instead of the actual button that I have now? I know that it would ruin the warranty of my phone, but I literally have one day left on it so I could care less.

I'm not someone who claims to have it because they get annoyed be things; I actually have it and it is a large obstacle in my life.
