Is it possible to unlock a disabled and locked iPhone 5 and if it is how?
Ok, so I was messing around with my iPhone and decided to lock it multiple times and type in the passcode incorrectly and eventually it said, "iPhone is disabled, connect to iTunes." I connected to iTunes and it said it couldn't connect because there was a passcode on my phone. I read the FAQ's and it said to restore my iPhone. I Really DON'T WANT TO DO THIS BECAUSE I HAVE Almost All THE PICTURES I EVER TOOK ON THIS PHONE AND FOR SOME REASON I Can't FIND THE BACKUP.
Unfortunately to thwart thieves from having unlimited time to access a stolen/found yet not returned phone, Apple created a patch here not too long ago that forces you to restore/reset the phone, Without having backed it up, it is almost 100% you will lose your data unless you leave it alone and get another phone and wait until a bug allows you to bypass the code altogether. I know because I just spent 2 hours this morning trying to access my wife's phone to place GPS app on there. However, it did not go well because I disabled the phone for 15 min and when she got up she typed the wrong code so it disabled for an hour. I tried to find a solution but for now there's only restoration recovery. Great little devices for those honest, caring people, and a hellacious tool for those who want to keep spouses out of secretive affairs (not necessarily infidelity).
- My iphone is disabled and locked! Is there a way to open it without erasing all my stuff? I'm legit crying because someone must have tried to hack into my phone and now I can't get into my iphone without the iphone store deleting all my info I had my phone at all times too so it doesn't make sense that they are saying someone tried to use the incorrect passcode too many times
- Looking at buying an iphone 4s, locked and disabled, can I get it working again? I know nothing about the iphone, or apple, so any help would be great. The phone is locked and disabled (I'm not sure what that means), but they are selling it for $40 and I know there's a great deal of software hacks available for the iphone. Does anyone know how I can do this? Or should I pass on the phone?
- Locked out of iphone and its now disabled So i forgot my passcode on my iPhone 4 and now i'm locked out and diabled. (Where the slider button is only for emergency calls) I tried pressing the sleep/awake button along with the home button at the same time but it just brought me back to the same screen. The apple icon showed up and everything. It also won't let me connect to itunes because it says i need to put the passcode in. And it kees showing errors. Someone please help.
