Is it reasonable for someone to expect you to replace an expensive gift if it gets stolen?
Bought Girlfriend the latest tricked out iPhone. She lost it or it was stolen. Crying about how awful a person I'm because I won't buy her a new one. Forget the past. Simply;
"I don't have an iPhone"
"You don't love me because you won't buy me one"
Is this a reasonable reaction? It has some logic, right?
She wouldnt be my g/f any longer if that happened. Would you really want to deal with that garbage the rest of your life? No thanks.
Sounds like she only likes you for the gift's you get her. She seems spoiled. How are you the bad person for something that's 100% her fault for not keeping a closer eye on the phone, or for storing it in a safe place?
