Is it still worth it to get an iPhone? Straight Talk Plan?
I'm currently wondering whether I should get an iPhone 4 or not. I currently have an iPod touch 4g, and a cheap Metro PCS qwerty keyboard. Is there any way I can transfer my number from metro over to Straight Talk? Plan on buying the phone unlocked from ebay or craigslist for about $200, as AT&T's plan is too expensive for me. I also plan on using straight talk on it, so I will be paying around $45 a month. So my question is, would it be worth it? I'm not really interested in the iPhone 5 or 4S at all.

You already own an iPod so you're familiar with Apple products, so I would strongly recommend the iPhone 4.It's a fantastic smartphone at a very reasonable price now that the iPhone 5 and 4S have entered the market. Be careful when buying a used iPhone to check that it is in working order, and make sure that it has its original packaging so you don't buy a stolen one.
You should also ask for the original receipt, even if it's out of warranty -- if you ever need to get it repaired you will need to document its purchase. Get the seller to write a receipt as well, to document that you bought it from them.
