Is it worth buying an iPhone 3GS in 2013?
They have a suck *** droid that barely works half the time. He doesn't need a fancy phone, just something that will work.
iPhone 3GS runs abount $160 on ebay. Is it worth buying?
Not really need at least 4s because they've even stopped updating the 4 now.
I personally wouldn't. The 3GS while still a good phone, would not be getting iOS 7 when it comes out later this year & that puts it next in line for the iPhone that would fall out of the app compatibility cycle like the original & 3G before it.
If those things don't matter then by all means.
I'd look into an iPhone 4 at the very least.
- What is the real price of iPhone 3Gs now 2013? I have an iPhone 3Gs bought by my Uncle last 4 years I think. I don't like upgrading phones. But, I like upgrading my tablets. I'm just curious about the price of my phone.
- Thoughts on buying iPhone 1st generation in 2013? Not to use as a phone! (I have the OG Atrix for that) but as a collectors item/something that could hold alot more value in the future. You can get the original iPhone for 50-80 dollars on ebay in pretty good condition, do you guys think that buying a few of them to hold on to would pay off at all in the future (5-10 years from now) when people will begin to want them as collectors items? Or does it not really matter at all once they've been used does that make them junk?
