Is it worth getting a new iPhone?
I had my iPhone stolen a few weeks ago. I was covered by insurance but still had to pay $250 to get a new iPhone (the iPhone 5). I've had it for a few days and dropped it because I tripped and the screen is fully cracked. The iPhone is still functional but the cracks are pretty bad. I wondered whether it would be worth it to get a new iPhone or whether I should just leave it. I'm not financially stable at the moment so I'm thinking to leave it unless they give me a new one for free.
You can probably get it fixed cheap you can buy the screen off eBay and some phone repair shop can install it for you.
I think that it's worth it to hold on to the phone until the next one comes out sometime. Invest in a protective case like an Otterbox if you tend to drop it, and you'll have no worries.
- Will it be worth getting th iPhone 5? I got a new windows phone and 2 year contract last year. But the announcement of the iPhone 5 has got me thinking. I have a very old itouch, the keyboard barely works and I can't download most apps. I was wondering would it be worth buying out of my contract and getting a new contract? Cheers
- Is there any way of getting iPhone 5 for 199$ and getting rid of the contract? I just want the phone and wanna get rid of the contract without paying for it. I know how to unlock the phone so that's not a problem.
- Is the iPhone 5s still worth getting in 2015? Is it getting obsolete? My mom might be considering on getting me an iPhone, but she said that i Can't get a 6. She might be getting me a 5s instead. I don't know when yet though. How many years will Apple support software updates? It is already almost two years old and is it still a worth getting?
