If your asking then you know it is not, unless you have loads of spare money.

I personally don't think so. Really with any new smartphone upgrade the only main difference might be more memory capacity, some extra speed and maybe a better display but if I feel like smartphone upgrades unless you upgrade a few generations later are pointless.

I think it was worth the $800 for me because I switched phone companies and it made my wife happy to have 64 gig iphone 6 with apple care after I bought three lower priced android phones (Oneplus and Galaxy grand prime) for the rest of the family but two of the S3 smartphones we had were very broken.
So if you old phone is broken and you want the iphone then yes.
Looking at your other question that say you had S3 before would lead to think you should like S6 better than iphone because I personally don't like using iphones because I'm used to how the android phones work. My wife was happy with the 5s and will likely be happy with the iphone 6 she had S3 before too but rarely uses smartphone features in addition to email.
