Is my iPhone 4S going to be okay?
I have an iPhone4s and it has an otter box defender series case and I left it in a pair of pants that needed to be washedand that's exactly what happened about 5 mins in the wash machine I realized it. When I found it I pressed the lock button and it still worked after taking the case completely off I thought it was going to be ok. Seconds later the screen turned black and it wAs not responding I have it sitting in a jar of rice is my phone going to survive?
It was a bad idea that you turned it on after you took it out of the box! But In this situation it's 50-50. If you get lucky it will be fine, but it may not also.
Your phone is going to mutate into a mech solider and then it going to put you through the wash cycle and see how you like it.
Rice does not Actually work it can work for Temp but not Perm I Sale Iphones and Ipads and Such and I think it would be Better just to purchase a New or used Iphone
Tip Take phone completly apart and use a hair dryer on low and do it in back of phone for like 5 minutes and then do battery and let sit for 24 Hours and Then try if it don't work There's no hope
- My iPhone 4 suffered heavy water damage, will it be okay? I went in the pool with it not realizing it was in my pocket. I was in the pool for about 5-10 minutes before I realized it was in my pocket. It was on when I went in the pool but was off when I got out. I now have it sitting in a bowl of rice and I plan on leaving it in there for a week, changing the rice it's in every 24 hours. Does anyone have any insight on this, like if there's any hope of it being okay or is it done for?

- Is it okay to start charging my iPhone 5 when it's at about half battery? I used to have an iPod, and the battery got kind of messed up, it drained really slowly and charged really fast. But I just got an iPhone 5 and I don't want that to happen again, so I usually try and drain the battery until it shuts off. But sometimes I stay up really late trying to drain the battery so that I can charge it fully for the next day. But is it okay to start charging it at about half battery?
