Is the Iphone5C really only $99?
I live in South Africa and the Iphone5c has no yet been released here, so the Istore couldnt give me a price, but I heard it costs round about $99? That is like R.1000 here in South Africa and that is VERY cheap, can it be?
It is $599. You might be able to get it for cheaper with a phone service provider because they will want to sell you a service contract to go with it.

so it would cost you roughly 550$.
That's the price in the US including a 2 year AT&T, Sprint or Verizon contract. That's the phone itself. Then you'd have to factor in activation fees, voice, text & data plans.
When it is released in SA it will not be that same $99 USD.
