Who cares is it that mind boggling? If it bends be more careful and don't put 75 lbs of pressure on it. Anything ultra thin and long will bend. Anything. Unless it's from outer space.
It's not a rumor, it's straight up confirmed. There are lots of videos showing you can bend the phone. Consumer Reports tested it and it takes 95 pounds of pressure to bend it but it can bend. It's aluminum, not adamantium.
