Is there any benefit to buying a second hand 4s Apple Iphone?
Is there any benefit to buying a second hand 4s Apple Iphone? - 1
Added (1). someone wants to sell it to me for like $150 but a 4s is four years old already. It works fine and is in good condition but some people warn me that in one year, the apple updates would not be available. It now runs on a 8.2 operating system. People say that apple applications cost money and many of the useful ones will also not be able to be updated, like facebook or viber etc.
so is it worth it to buy? Are there any redeeming reasons to buy it because it is an apple Iphone at a good price?
Lot cheaper than later models. Of course you could buy a new non-Apple phone cheaper still.
You get a phone
Saving money. That's pretty much it.
Cheaper
It's very hard
Why not go up to 5C when its free on contract?
Cost is the main benefit, allows you to see what iOS is like before spending money on NEW phone would be a close second.
It costs less. Imo, I think you should research and see if you can find it cheaper. Try amazon eBay etc. In an interview a few months ago Cook said that they (apple) consider the iPhone 4s it's "entry-level" phone, meaning that if your new to smart phones then i4 is the place to start for iPhones. As more iPhones are released then that'll change and at some point the i5 will be entry level to them.
If you want an iPhone then try the 4s and see if you can find it cheaper online and if so then maybe your friend will lower his price.
- Would there be a benefit of having bluetooth 4.0 if some devices use older versions? I have the iPhone 5 which supports BLE 4.0 and also own a pebble watch which also supports 4.0. My car however only supports bluetooth 1.2. Does this mean I will not experience the battery benefits of BLE since I will still need to connect to my car which is on the older 1.2 version of bluetooth?
- Why are there some iphone 4ses with ios 5 for sale? (not second hand)? Or is it me and is it not true? Do they have ios 6? Because ios 8 has not come yet here where I live.
- When apple give you a new iphone for free is it second hand? - 1 I recently figured that my iphone 5 had faults such as the camera was cracked from the inside so i went to apple and because I was on warranty the gave me a new free iphone, but the phone they gave me has many small scratches on its frame and a few dints. So do you think it's not new and if so is there anyway I can convince them to give me an actual new on (btw I'm still on warranty)
- What should I know before buying a second hand iphone 4? So I've found a good deal for an iphone 4 but the thing I'm worried about obviously is getting scammed. I'm pretty sure it's not a China product but what I'm worried is things like if the iphone 4 is unlockable or not, the IMEI is blacklisted(do i have to worry about this too?). What other factors should I include when buying this? ** i'm actually going to see it for myself
