Is there anything wrong with giving out your udid?
There's a developer very legit that wIll register my iphone for ios 7.1 beta 3. I know they can get access to apps and things especially third party apps but far as things like my phone number and data plan can they like run up my bill or something or get access to my sprint account
UDID's or Unique Device IDentifiers are asked for by developers for beta testing, as it allows them to build a profile of the application which will only function and successfully launch on your device. To find your UDID, plug-in your device, and on the iTunes 'Summary' tab, click 'Serial Number'. The data will change to show the field 'Identifier'. This is the number you are being asked for.
Alternatively you can use 'UDID' from the App Store.
Your UDID is perfectly safe to share with anyone.
It can't be used maliciously, in any way.
- Is there something wrong with my phone or is there something wrong with my mom's phone? Ok so when I attempt to call my mom, it doesn't ring it just goes straight to voicemail but doesn't show on my mom's phone that she had a missed called. My messages won't go through either, but her calls and messages come through to me. We both have iPhones and they are both on. I can text everyone else, call everyone else but her.
- Is there anything wrong with getting iPhone 4S in 2013? Is there like those updates that will make it lag? My contract ends in a couple weeks and its a 2year contract so i will have the 4S for two more years. And i'm afraid by then it will be old i CAN't decide between the 4S or 5. (Never had an iPhone before)

- Is it safe too give someone your iPhone UDID? Someone i know wants me to beta test some of they are company's app's, But for me to do that i need iSO 7 beta, He said i can pay the 100$ Apple fee to have my own personal account, or he'll register my UDiD for free with his, is it safe letting other people do it? What is the UDiD for? I Like to be a secure person and i don't know much about the UDiD or what it is.
